A Visual Journey

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, I grew up surrounded by an array of cultures and backgrounds. The Big Island is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the country and my various interests and subjects reflect a similar non-homogeneous nature.

Although I love my home on the Big Island, I knew that in order to be creatively fulfilled I needed to venture off of the island. My eye and talent were enhanced by my education in art school in California. There I honed my skills in photography as well as in print and graphic design. 

At a young age I was captivated by the other worldly landscapes where I grew up. I continue to find my greatest muse and inspiration in nature.  I am always seeking out a new challenge, perspective and story and trying to capture life between the lines. I hope to not just capture the big moments, but also the often indistinct ones that happen on either side.
